Bridal shower colour schemes for hosting a dinner party
If the thought of going out on the town for your hen party, with L plates on, feels you with utter dread, you're in the right place! I can relate because this was totally me when I was planning my hen do, all I wanted to do was to sit and chat with my closest pals and the closet women in my family, around the table, reminiscing about old times, laughing until my cheeks hurt and eating some bloody good grub! I wanted a memorable evening that would make me smile when I looked back. Not something that made me cringe with embarrassment! So if this sounds like what you're looking for too, you'll really enjoy this blog post.
Hen parties with sophisticated dining
I think the stereo typical vibe of a hen party is well and truly over, but when I was planning mine back in 2014, there wasn't really any other options presented to us other than going out for drinks, which is what my friendship group all did before I was getting married. Times have changed and like the actually wedding day, brides are more tuned in to making their bridal shower all about what they are actually interested in. Planning an event that feels more aligned with their personality and interests. And I for one am so here for that!
Sophisticated bridal showers with a botanical style
If gathering around the table with your besties and enjoying a lovely meal is more your cup of tea, you'll love these ideas I've put together for you, to inspire your girly get together. I'm sharing colour schemes that have a grown up look to them, with a sophisticated botanical style, and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for relaxed dining and sharing stories about the bride to be. Whether you're hosting a bridal shower in your own home or garden, in a restaurant, a lodge or in a b&b, these ideas will work perfectly for you.
So let get inspiring you with some fun colour schemes
Coral beach, teal and peach tablescape
This teal and peach colour palette with subtle touches of blush pink, rose gold and sand, make a really eye catching tablescape design. It's full of story and personality. The combination of natural materials with the wicker mats, stone and recycled bottles provides a coastal vibe, which is perfect for the outdoorsy bride to be. Especially if she is laid back with a bold personality, and just loves a carefree style that's also expressive. It also would be a great fit for brides who care about the environment, as lots of natural materials and recycled table decor has been used to bring the look together. With the addition of the floral patterned napkins, rose gold foil menu cards, scallop name tags attached to the wine glasses and chiffon ribbon bows, these details elevate the whole look. The wild grasses add movement and the stones and tableware help tell a story. It would look amazing inside a lodge retreat, which is such a popular weekend away for a girly get together these days. I can imagine this table at a spa weekend after you've all had a dip in the pool, to come back to a beautifully styled table ready for dining at. These menus in my shop, have been customised to tie in with the colour scheme. This is something I offer on all my table stationery, which makes a fantastic option if you can't find the exact colour combinations that you're looking for.

Organic green and pink tablescape
An organic green tablecloth makes the pink shades really pop in this design. Perfect for a garden setting if the bride to be loves being outdoors or loves a vintage style with a modern look. This design has an elegant feel but feels very earthy with the natural decor that's used, with the wicker mats, rustic clay bud vases and plant pots. Elegant touches included are the crystal candle holders, green goblet style wine glasses and tapered candles giving a vintage feel to the table. The bow details add some interest which are attached to the stem of the wine glass and with the menu cards, which are a pre made template you can buy that can be easily edited and printed off yourself. You can find them here in my shop.
