This tablescape design was inspired by what's in my garden in the late summer days. At the end of August in the UK, we start to see little signs creeping in of the seasons changing but my garden is still thriving, so this table represents the time of year we are tumbling out of and falling into the autumn months ahead.
Colour Palette
The colour palette I have chosen is playful with shades of green, violet, gold, brown and white. Earthy tones mixed with fresh greenery, luxurious violet flowers and accents of gold add a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Table Decor

Flowers
The flowers I chose were a mixture of delicate lavender, nepeta, thistles and wild flowers foraged from my own garden. I added them to small brown stoneware bottles which provided a vintage look. I also added a light touch of fresh eucalyptus to bring a freshness to the design and continue the earthy vibes throughout.

Finishing touches
I scattered mini pinecones and acorns to show the small signs of the autumn season creeping in. These finishing touches really brought the look together.

Place Settings
For the place settings I wanted to be a bit daring and add something unexpected to the table, so I placed satin lilac bows on the seafoam coloured cloth napkins which just lifted the table design, providing a playful nod to the summer time. The bow menus from my digital downloads shop worked perfectly to tie in the vintage elegant vibes with a playful design.

The mood
I used antique gold candlestick holders and vintage tealights to add a touch of elegance and a warm glow from the soft candle light.

The mixture of table decor and the colour scheme came together beautifully. It represents the changing of the season perfectly.
