Tropical Citrus Tablescape Design

I was invited to take part in a Women's Wellbeing Event at Bainvalley Cottages in Hemingby, Horncastle, to showcase my table styling service and chat all things hosting to potential guests, who would love to hold a private dinner party in the beautiful setting, to celebrate intimate special occasions with their family & friends. Inspired by the spaces provided by the owner Rebecca and the purpose of the event, I decided to create two tablescape looks to compliment the spaces. Lush greenery for a natural tropical dining experience

I kept the colour scheme for this tablescape simple and clean with natural tones, white and gold to help the mixture of lush green shades take centre stage. Which I brought in with the napkins, textured water tumblers, some citrus fruit and the leafy centrepiece. 

Tropical table decorations with citrus fruits

I styled the table with a white tablecloth to make all the other elements pop. Adding a jute runner and wicker charger mats provided a natural rustic feel. I added glass vases with candle light and citrus limes and kiwis to bring more tropical vibes into the look. 

A mixture of house plants, wild grasses and tropical leaves provided a tropical oasis

Lush house plants and grasses in pots were added around the main table centrepiece which was full of hostas, fern leaves, grasses and japonica leaves. I also dotted around laurel leaves throughout the decor to tie everything in. The abundance of greenery made the space feel welcoming and fresh.

Each place setting was finished with a stylish menu card with a emerald green and gold foil design to tie in perfectly with the warm tones of the decor. You can find these in my shop to buy and personalise yourself here.
