Teal and peach tablescape design for bridal shower dinner

I woke up one morning with this colour combination in my head, using dark teal and peach as the main focal colours. I had been thinking about creating a grown up botanical style for a bridal shower and these colours came to mind. To lift the design and add some interest I also added a splash of light pink and sand and a lighter shade of green for contrast. The colours together reminded me of a coral beach so I used this narrative to tell this story with the decor I chose.

Choosing table decor that felt like a coral beach

I wanted my main colours to stand out so I used a dark teal tablecloth and a peach chiffon table runner to create larger blocks of colour on the table. Underneath I also added a jute runner down the centre to add those natural beachy vibes. I selected my recycled green glass bottles from my prop hire catalogue and filled them with dried flowers in complimenting colours and wild grasses to run the beach theme through the design. I also added low tealights for a touch of warmth. I styled some sandy stones around my main table centrepiece to add an interesting feature that fit the theme perfectly. 

Floral peach and teal place settings

I styled each place setting with a wicker charger mat, rose gold cutlery, a brown tinted wine glass and white scalloped plates. The shape of these really helped tie the beachy vibes in again! I used these gorgeous patterned napkins in complimenting colours. I completed the look with a menu in teal card and rose gold foil. Which I customised from an existing design available in my shop here. You can do this with any of my table stationery which is great for fitting it in with your own colour scheme. I then finished with a chiffon ribbon bow. I then added a scallop name tag in the same colours to each wine glass for a fun touch. 

I just love how this look came together and I could imagine a group of girls enjoying the space for a girly gathering whether it's a dinner party or for a bridal shower.
