Spring 2024 I was asked to style the tipis at Scrivelsby Walled Garden for their organised drone shoot and virtual tour by Apollo 3D to help show off the venues potential. I was very excited to get stuck in, so I got to work on my mood board so I would have a clear direction of where to take my many ideas. Seeing as the time of year was spring I let this vibe lead the design concept. I wanted a fresh, light and airy vibe with lots of fun and delicate elements to decorate the outdoor space.

Colour Palette

The colour palette I chose was a fun peach and lemon combination with pops of terracotta and soft brown. I used table runners and coloured bud vases to bring these colours in, as well as a variety of dried florals which added complimenting accents. The warm tones added a cosy vibe to the tipis canvas.

Table Decor

A mixture of chiffon table runners were placed down the centre of the banquet style table layout, to add lots of texture. Wicker charger mats were arranged with crisp white linen napkins with gold foil stationery to finish. A selection of fun coloured bud vases, terracotta plant pots and vintage stoneware help show off all the dried florals that complimented the boho theme.

 Stationery

I designed and created bespoke stationery pieces for the design to compliment the style. A gold foil menu on recycled card stock, was placed on top of the napkin, a fun tassel place card and a feather for a boho flourish to match the airy vibe was styled along side. Gold foil table numbers were placed in my wooden holders to work alongside the table decor.

Sweetheart Table

To make the sweetheart table extra special, I added layers of romantic draping and I created a dried floral centrepiece that make a statement to help frame the table on it's own. If you would like to work with me on bespoke dried flower creations you can make an enquiry here >>

Ceremony Area

The ceremony area is nestled in the beautiful gardens so under the canopy I styled it with tall wicker vases filled with fluffy pampas grass, matching table decor, and a garden trellis structure as the backdrop for exchanging vows. Romantic draping added a block of colour and the wooden planters were filled with fan palms, ferns and more pampas grass. A statement seagrass lampshade blew gently in the breeze in the centre of the backdrop.
