Elegant farmhouse easter tablescape
The inspiration for this tablescape came from a visit to my local fruit and veg shop. I picked up some cheerful daffodils, white tulips, free range eggs and some fresh yellow plums to create a table that feels like the beginning of spring. I wanted to create a rustic farm house style with an elegant twist, so I used delicate decor to tell this story.

A fresh spring colour palette
The colour palette was made up of cream, yellow, green and white which was made up using the linens, the tableware and the flowers throughout. I see this as a traditional colour combination for Easter but pastel shades work well too, depending on your preference. I made sure I had the balance of colour just right as I didn't want just one colour to dominate for this look. Lush green added the freshness I was after, cream added the elegance, yellow added the fun vibes and the natural mats I added, provided the earthy touch I was after.

Elegant easter decorations with rustic touches
The table decor I decided on were my jute runners for down the centre and seagrass charger mats which both added a rustic farmhouse look. I added a cream chiffon table runner on top to soften them and it added some elegance to the base layer. I placed clear bud vases in different heights and shapes down the middle and picked these clear crystal candle holders with white tapered candles for some lighting, height & texture. I also thought these green goblet style wine glasses added some interest and I added gold and white cutlery for a luxury touch that also added warmth.

Botanical ribbon bows lift easter bunny napkins
I styled my white bunny ear shaped napkins with a botanical ribbon bows to complete the look and finished with my menu template card in green. This tied everything in nicely together.

Table styling with fresh fruit
Using fruit on your tablescape is a hot trend that is here to stay. It's such a quick and affordable way to add splashes of colour on the table and it makes an interesting feature instead of using lots of flowers all the time. I love using what's in the current season. Plus as a bonus, you can of course eat it after your dinner party is finished, so nothing goes to waste. It's a win, win! I scattered my yellow plums along the centre, and dotted a few green leaves and spring dried flowers among them to really make them pop.
