Wedding guest blog post feature on The English Wedding Blog
•Posted on February 03 2026
I just love writing blog posts to inspire my audience, so when I saw Claire from The English Wedding Blog chatting on her social media page about wedding blogs making a come back, it made me feel very excited indeed! I have regularly blogged since I started my business back in 2016, and often wonder why more wedding business's don't blog more, so they can discuss the topics they really care about in more depth, and inspire their audience with fresh ideas. As let's face it, there's only so much you can say in short social media posts.
Couples planning their wedding day for 2026 and beyond are taking a slightly different approach in how they choose wedding suppliers to help them bring their day to life. They are much more interested in choosing suppliers that align with their own values and beliefs, so getting to know the people behind the wedding business's before they decide to book, is really important to them. Claire is keen to have honest conversations on her blog, sharing not only your expertise as a wedding supplier but sharing your honest point of view too, so that couples can connect with you easier. Her wedding blog is a fantastic resource for couples planning their wedding day, and for suppliers that are looking to connect with like minded creatives in the wedding industry. This is what I loved about writing for Claire, I could freely share my opinion and be helpful to her readers which are a mix of couples and suppliers.
I immediately got in touch with Claire, to ask if I could write a guest post to feature on her wedding blog, and I was delighted when she said yes! She told me she was looking for people who write beautifully and have something to say. Which I feel is very much me! She had a peek at my blog and chose a topic I had written about which was 'What will your guests remember the most from your wedding day'. She wanted me to expand on this topic for the feature which was all about how the aesthetics are part of creating an atmosphere. Literally one of my favourite topics to chat about as a stylist & stationer, there was just so much to say about it. If you would like to read the article, you can find my guest post over here. In the blog I talk about how the design of your wedding has the power to create an atmosphere and why that's important. I also share some amazing insights on how you can achieve the perfect mood in your wedding venue so that it leaves a lasting impression on your guests.
I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed diving into this topic.
