If your dream is to have a laid back, relaxed day with your close family and friends, to celebrate your marriage to each other. Then a rustic wedding could be the perfect style for you.
..
Here is a round up of some of the ways you could bring this style to life.

Choose a Rustic Venue

When you are searching for venues remember to keep in mind the whole picture of your day. In order to create a relaxed vibe you want your venue to compliment this. A blank canvas like a rustic barn or a tipi would be the perfect fit for your setting.

Get hitched outside

Getting married outside in a natural setting like a garden or some woodlands would definitely add a rustic and enchanting feel.

Outfits

Choose a wedding dress that is low key, relaxed and romantic that you feel comfortable in. Colourful jackets, bow ties and waistcoats are a great way to  show personality.

Create an atmosphere

When it comes to decorating a blank canvas you have to find ways to bring the atmosphere to life. This can be done with plenty of twinkle lights and candles. Consider your music choices, having a live band can add an amazing vibe. Weddings are all about the guests experience.

Furniture

Instead of covering chairs and tables over with linens, let the natural wood show through which will compliment the venue.

Decorations

For centrepieces use jars and jugs to create a rustic look. Bring nature inside with pinecones and wood slices. Use natural materials such as wood and metal.

Florals

For a relaxed understated look with florals, choose a looser arrangement for your wedding bouquet. A floral crown is fantastic alternative to wearing a veil.

Food & Drink Stations

A big part of achieving a relaxed vibe for your day is created with your menu choices. A fun barbecue, a buffet or a food truck is ideal so your guests can select what they want theirselves and even go back for seconds! Dessert tables and dink stations also go down particularly well too.

Play Games

Setting up games for your guests to enjoy is a fantastic way for your guests to let their hair down. Make your day even more memorable with fun activities they can all get involved in.

Chill out Areas

Creating a chill out zone for your guests to sit and mingle will help create that relaxed atmosphere and allow time for you to take the day in before it's over.
