•Posted on December 21 2022
If you love stationery you will love the new trends we are seeing everywhere at the minute. Even if you aren't a big trend follower, you can still incorporate the trends into your design so that it feels modern, up to date and fresh. Let's take a closer look at where we are heading with wedding stationery for 2023.
Envelope Liners
It's very popular now to include envelope liners when sending your invitations. It just feels more finished and presentable when arriving to your guests. You can have them foil finished with a design or your can personalise with your initials.
Curved Designs
Shaped arches and curved designs are huge in stationery. Whether it's your invitation set or your place cards for an alternative twist on the tradition, I am totally here for this trend. It looks fun and you can tie it in with your other decor which might be a ceremony or photo backdrop.
Combining Menus & Name Cards
Depending on how you want your place settings to look will depend on what stationery you choose, but it is very popular at the moment to combine your names for your guests with a menu. Obviously this only works if you're thinking of including a menu on their plate as well. It's a nice way to have each of them personalised too.

Statement Signage
Signs are essential for your wedding to help it flow nicely and so all your guests know what they are doing and when you want them to do it. They can also make amazing displays if large enough, filling empty space and adding character to your day. Fabric signs allow you to go big and make a statement.
Alternative Ideas
Couples are seeking out new ways to present their stationery to their guests, and are having some fun with it. It will help give them a nice surprise and something they haven't seen before to get that wow factor your looking for. Here are a few ideas below.
Alternative drink straws
A twist on the traditional place card, is a personalised drink straw to mark their place. Pop it ready in a glass or tuck it into a napkin pocket and they will know which drink is there's all evening, even when they come back from having a bogie on the dancefloor.
Fold Out Welcome Cards
Give your guests a little surprise to open when they are seated with a fold out card. It can incorporate your menu, a welcome message and your order of events, including their name on the front to make the ultimate place setting package.
