When I was planning my wedding and still to this day I love looking at wedding blogs. There is so much inspiration out there on offer these days which is great but sometimes it can feel like there's too much especially when planning your own day. So I've come up with my top 5 to help narrow it down for you.
As I've spoken about it before on here you'll know that RMW is my favourite wedding blog of all time, due to featuring on it a couple of times myself makes this one extra special. They have a long list of suppliers that you can search for in your area in ordered categories. They have inspiring wedding ideas, Real Wedding stories, DIY projects and advice on planning all with the most beautiful photography to swoon over. They also now offer a delightful book which takes you through the stages of planning packed with ideas. And not forgetting their new podcast which which is a joy to listen to, so do check it out.
As well as offering you real wedding stories and a fabulous supplier list, The Love my Dress Blog focus's it's attention on bridal fashion, like what's trending, advice on picking the right dress and even upcoming events where sample dresses are on sale. They also have a fabulous resource of wedding readings, so if you are looking for some inspiration for your ceremony this could be the place to find it.
This wedding blog is a great resource because it includes a shop for you to purchase bits and pieces you may need from a wide variety of suppliers. It also tells you when the upcoming wedding shows and fairs are going to be on throughout the year which you might like to plan for. And if you register with them you have the chance play quizzes, fill in surveys and win competitions, which would be handy wouldn't it!
I love this blog, it's so cheerful and fun to browse through. It has a fun section called 'Bride Diaries' which is all about following real brides experiencing at first hand their journey through the planning process. (Which you could always take part in if you apply) Which can be hen party stories, enagement shoots, DIY brides with their projects and beauty tips.
The thing I love most about this blog is, it's not just for weddings, it gives you lots of ideas for the other occasions such as bridal showers, your rehearsal dinner, and also entertaining at home. It has a great lifestyle section with shopping guides, health and fitness and travel. It even has interior ideas for your home which may also inspire you for styling your wedding decor. With a fun fashion and beauty section, what's not to like! It will be one you head back to time and time again like me!
So there you have my top 5, hope you find the inspiration you are looking for!
